Rather than shying away, I took up the challenge, setting up shop in the attic of my mother's home. Trust me, a mother's attic has more room for creativity than you can imagine! My first arrangements might not have won any design awards, but they were crafted with love and loads of enthusiasm. Before long, I started getting noticed by some local folks.

Mr. Watts, a neighborhood funeral director, offered me a chance to practice my newfound passion. ""You can practice on us,"" he said warmly. Then, my pastor, the late Rev. Archie Dennis, gave me the opportunity to decorate our church with floral arrangements. That’s when I realized: this is it. This is what I want to do. From that point on, well, as they say, the rest is history. Today, I’m proud to say I’m your go-to florist for all things flowers and flower delivery.

The Paradise Of Flowers is a small local business. In 2016 I sold roses at the street light, later renting a spot outside of the gas station for 3 years. We the moved in into a local unit. We are a family business, where friends are welcome and my children are some help.
